The documentaries developed by National Geographic, Procter & Gamble and Global Citizen will feature well known activists such as Hugh Jackman, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Pharrell Williams and Usher telling their stories and showcasing the work that is being done to combat extreme poverty and inspire a global movement. In Eradicating Extreme Poverty, Hugh Jackman, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Becky G join Global Citizen in campaigns to push world leaders into enacting policy changes that would end extreme poverty around the globe. As Jackman prepares for the organisation’s massive Central Park festival, Becky G travels to Mexico to amplify Global Citizen’s campaign to push corporations to support women-owned businesses. The film is free to attend, and seating is on a first-come, first served basis. Screenings will happen on the outdoor screen whatever the weather, so come prepared!
