Our landlord, British Land, is supporting the London Design Festival for a second consecutive year as a Headline Partner.

London Design Festival (LDF) is an annual event which promotes the city’s creativity, bringing in the country’s greatest thinkers, practitioners, retailers and educators who deliver an unmissable celebration of design. The Festival programme sees major international exhibitions to trade events, installations to talks, product launches to private viewings and even parties.

As Headline Partner in the 15th LDF, British Land has commissioned geometric textile designer Camille Walala, to create a landmark project at our sister campus, Broadgate, as part of the 2017 Festival, launching 16 September.
Known for her bold use of colour and pattern, Walala will incorporate bold vinyl prints and a soft-textured ‘building-block castle’ to transform Exchange Square at Broadgate into a vibrant and tactile architectural landscape for the duration of the festival.

British Land will also work with the London Design Festival to host the prestigious awards evening, the British Land Celebration of Design, for a third consecutive year. This forms a key part of the Festival, honouring and celebrating those who have made a significant contribution to the world of design.
