St Mary Magdalene’s Church

St Mary Magdalene’s Church is a Grade II* Victorian gem which sits just behind the Regent’s Place campus on Munster Square.

Our main worship service is modern and reformed and is held at 11am every Sunday. All are welcome to join us as we gather to be fed, strengthened and renewed by Word and Sacrament in the mass – so that we can go out into the world to serve the Lord.

We are a vibrant worshipping community of peoples from all over the world who have come to live and work in and around Camden and we’re committed to making a difference in our community.
St Mary Magdalene’s has its own church school – Christ Church School, Redhill Street. The children regularly come to church for big celebrations.

The church has great acoustics and is blessed with a Yamaha Concert Grand Piano which is on permanent loan from Markson Pianos. Our building is a tremendous space for recitals and concerts, which are held regularly throughout the year. Musicians love the building not only for its glorious decoration and ambiance but for the peace and quiet afforded by a space like this in central London.

In the Crypt Centre, which sits beneath the church, there’s a wonderfully warm and comfortable space, with a kitchen, lift and other facilities. This is home to the Third Age Project, a few companies, a branch of Narcotics Anonymous and CODA and various other community groups.

The Regent’s Place team have close links with the church and its parish priest, Father Colin Coppen.
