For the 9th year in a row, we are supporting Calling London’s annual coat drive.
Calling London, established in 2011, runs a coat collection each year across the capital to find warm, clean coats that are no longer needed or wanted by their owners. They then distribute the coats and jackets to people in the local community who are particularly vulnerable at winter, such as the homeless, elderly or low-income families. This year, we will have a roaming coat rack which will tour across selected receptions from 25 November – 20 December. Bring in your old or unwanted coats and hang them up on the rail, we’ll then donate them all to Calling London, who will distribute them to those who need it the most. Dates and where you can find our coat rack are below:
- w/c 25 November (10 Brock Street)
- w/c 2 December (20 Triton Street)
- w/c 9 December (30 Brock Street)
- w/c 16 December (350 Euston Road)
Already have a coat to donate? You can hand it into any reception from 1 November.
From young people who can’t afford warmer clothes to the elderly who really need extra layers, it’s a simple way to make a real difference to someone’s life this winter.
