Regent’s Place is launching a free employment revival training programme to help jobseekers in the borough of Camden to refresh and develop the skills needed to help them local job opportunities.
The Bright Lights Virtual Employment Programme will start on 10 May for two weeks and is aimed at anyone who is currently unemployed, at risk of redundancy or on furlough with an uncertain future – either as a result of the pandemic, or due to other circumstances.
The course will be delivered via a virtual classroom and will include the below.
- How to develop a CV
- Job application support
- Building interview skills
- Understanding and preparing for new recruitment practices
- How to develop digital communication skills
- Access to a personal mentor
Participants will have guaranteed interviews upon completion of the course across a range of companies delivering services at Regent’s Place. Those who complete the course will also receive ongoing support for up to six months, tailored to their specific needs and ambitions.
Week 1: 10 - 14 May 2021 10am – 3pm
Week 2: Professional one to one coaching with a recruitment expert

The virtual training programme is being funded by Regent’s Place owner, British Land, as part of its ongoing commitment to the local community, in partnership with The Launch Group.
It forms part of British Land’s wider Bright Lights skills and employment initiative which helps people of all ages and abilities discover their potential through training, work placements, graduate schemes, internships and apprenticeships.
