The Regent’s Pride Network is a group of LGBTQ+ people and allys from businesses, charities and organisations in the Regent’s Place area.
We work together to host LGBTQ+ positive socials, workshops and training for businesses whilst sharing learnings from our own experiences to come together for a more inclusive, prouder world.
The network is a collaboration with forum+, an independent charity working to improve the lives of LGBTQ+ people in Camden, Islington and the surrounding boroughs. They promote equality and diversity by the elimination of discrimination in relation to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people who live, work, socialise or study in the area.
Since our launch in June 2019 we have hosted events, training and socials on campus for members and the local community. These have included a National Hate Crime Awareness Week training, socials to mark National Transgender Day of Remembrance, LGBT History Month sessions and the Loudest Whispers 2020 Exhibition where over 50 LGBTQ+ artists showed their incredible works.
Whilst we usually meet once a month on campus, the network has fully embraced the digital world and has continued to collaborate so that we can help LGBTQ+ people experience Virtual Pride 2020. We would love to welcome more members to the network so if you would like to find out more, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
