Transforming Regent’s Place outdoor spaces

January 2022 update

This year, Regent's Place will embark upon exciting improvement works following the transformation around 1 Triton Square in 2020.

Starting 10 January 2022, the renovation of the remaining outdoor areas will begin, upgrading them to attractive and functional spots for everyone to enjoy and adding more greenery to create a more relaxing, natural environment.

Using all-natural materials, timber furniture and widespread planting, this project will also see the installation of additional outside socialising areas. The new semi-sheltered spaces have been designed with groups in mind, so friends can sit and relax in between meetings or after work hours.

 

Improvement works planned for 2022:

  • Triton Street will be transformed with quiet areas to sit and tranquil planters to create an oasis for those looking to take a moment to themselves.
  • The Plaza will become home to new seating areas and large planters.
  • London’s largest living wall will also be arriving at Regent’s Place, providing a home to various wildlife, foliage, and plants - and a new selfie spot for visitors to enjoy.

Measures have been taken to keep any disruption to a minimum and this page will be updated with each new phase of improvement work, alongside information on how this might impact your visit to Regent’s Place. To limit the disruption on-site there will be noise control measures in place of 2 hours on/2 hours off during all percussive breaking out works. Dust control measures include damping down during breaking out works and a vehicle wash-down point.

January works

From 10 January 2022, the works will begin on Triton Street with hoarding concealing the works.

Access to 20 Triton Street, 10 Triton Street, The Union and ODAC Triton Street will be kept open with directional signage helping visitors to navigate around the works.

Please note that the works area will change slightly every few weeks and so the directional signage will reflect this to make sure you know where to go.
